Contact us

We are

We are an Anglican Christian Community based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
Our Sunday  services are informal, family focused and friendly.
We seek to celebrate life with each other and also to journey alongside one another
in those more challenging moments of life as well.

On a Sunday we  meet in Greenleas School on the Sandhills estate and look to be an active Christian presence in this area of Leighton Buzzard, whilst providing  a warm welcome to everyone,
no matter where they are from.

I am new

Our current monthly service pattern is
1st Sunday : Communion and Junior Church
A contemporary service with modern worship songs led by a band. Primary school age children go to Junior Church whilst the adults explore a biblical topic. The children and adults join together for communion and then refreshments and chat after the service
2nd Sunday: Cafe & Messy Church
After a shared breakfast, the children engage in Messy Church which includes craft activities, songs and teaching around a Biblical theme. At the same time in Café Church the adults engage  interactively  with a faith based theme. Our time together is drawn to a close with everyone joining back together for refreshments.
3rd Sunday : Communion, Junior Church & Junior Church +
As per the first Sunday of the month but with Junior Church Plus for middle and secondary school age youth. Everyone joins together for Communion.
4th & 5th Sunday: All Age Worship
A service with all ages together for the whole service which is based around sung worship, prayer and exploring a biblical theme or topic  together as a community.

Vision Update

On  Sunday 23rd July we considered some of our plans for the coming year that came out of the CGS PCC/leadership team away day. The headlines of our plans are:
  • Providing something for everyone every week with Cafe & Messy Church on the 2nd Sunday.
  • Events to help us develop our community.
  • Taking opportunities to link with those living in the Sandhills estate and the surrounding areas
  • Offer an Alpha course in spring 2018.
  • To work towards youth provision for all youth age groups.
We will be unpacking the vision more from September onward and give people an opportunity to contribute to the development of the vision.
On Sunday 23rd July, to celebrate the setting out of our vision, we built a small altar from pebbles, symbolising our commitment to being a vibrant Christian presence in Sandhills and the surrounding area
